I have thought about a mission for so long but didn't want to admit it because well leaving for 18 months is hard to commit to. Over the last year I have had some wonderful experiences that have touched my heart and consider a mission more seriously. I finally decided the best thing to do was to start my papers when I was home for the holidays. I figured if it was what the Lord wanted me to do He would confirm it as I was going through the application process. When I was finally being interviewed by my stake president and sharing my thoughts on a mission and the gospel I knew a mission is what I wanted to do. I want to share with others what has brought so much happiness to my life.
On February 2, 2012 I received my call and February 4 I opened it. I will be going to Tegucigalpa, Honduras for the duration of 18 months!
