A couple of blonde moments

Today started off like any other normal day at work, just working on my daily tasks. During my lunch hour I went back to my apartment. I live on the fourth floor and as I was taking the elevator it stopped on what I thought was my floor because I saw a girl that lives on my floor getting on the elevator. I walked back to my room and walked in thinking my roomie was home for lunch. Come to find out I was on the second floor walking into the wrong room. Luckily it was this intern that I vaguely knew, and he was nice about it but needless to say I was so embarrassed!

  
Blonde moments part two:
I had a package to send out today so I took a taxi over to the UPS store, turns out they don't mail out packages but he gave me packaging material for free. The package was all set to go I just had to pay for the postage to get it sent. On my way back home I took another taxi, the driver was very nice and as I got out I felt a sense of pride for taking my first successful taxi by myself. I felt like a true native of the city. As soon as I stepped into my building I realized I had left my package! I ran out frantically looking for the taxi but he was gone. So that package is gone :( I have a glimmer of hope that somehow that package will find it's way back to me because I put my address on it, but some might refer to that as false hope. . .
